What is EFT

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique, commonly referred to as “tapping.” It involves the stimulation of acupressure points while bringing to mind thoughts, feelings, sensations or memories to create a relaxation response and increased wellbeing.

Is EFT a medically accepted technique?

EFT is recognized as an evidence-based practice by the American Psychological Association (APA) based on scientific literature and clinical trials. EFT has been researched in more than 10 countries with results published in more than 20 different peer-reviewed journals. There have been over 50 published randomized controlled trials that have demonstrated the effectiveness of EFT.
